How does the Clarify step work?

In the Clarify step, compare what Eydora found in your files with your own answers, fix anything wrong, then run.

Written by PA-Team

You review what Eydora parsed in the Clarify step, the third step of Project Setup. It appears automatically after Ingest.

What you'll see

A summary at the top tells you how many of the six questions are answered and how many answers were found in your files. Then each question appears in a row with two columns:

  • From your files: what Eydora found, labelled with the file it came from. If nothing was found, it says so.

  • Your answer: what you wrote in the Brief step.

For each question

  • Add below mine: adds the text from your files after your own answer.

  • Replace mine: swaps your answer for the text from your files.

  • Edit: change your answer directly.

Once you've used something from your files, the row shows Added. Correct what's wrong and leave what's right. Blanks are fine; Eydora covers them.

Why this step matters

It's the last point where a misreading is cheap to fix. Every module builds on these answers, so a wrong audience or objective here carries through the whole run.

Then run

Click Run my free trial (Module 1), or after buying a package, Run the full analysis. Need to change your files first? Click Back to Ingest.
