What are the Psycho-Aesthetics® and Business canvases?

What each canvas shows, where to find them, and how to read the Psycho-Aesthetics grid.

Eydora produces two one-page canvases. You'll find them on your project's Reports tab, where you can preview them, open them in a new tab, or download them as PDF. Both are headed with the modules they draw from, shown as M1 to M7.

  • Psycho-Aesthetics® Canvas: included in every package (needs 3 modules). Verified students get it free with their trial.

  • Business Canvas: included in Strategic Intelligence and Capital Readiness (needs 5 modules).

Business Canvas

A business model canvas populated from your analysis. The blocks are:

  • Key partners. Who has to help deliver it.

  • Key activities. What you have to do well.

  • Key resources. Which assets make the position defensible.

  • Value proposition. Split into functional value, emotional value, proof point, and design gate.

  • Customer relationships. Across attract, engage, convert, onboard, and retain.

Each block is tagged with the modules it draws on, so any entry can be traced back to where it came from. Some blocks also carry a RACI note showing who is responsible for that area.

Psycho-Aesthetics® Canvas

Maps your concept directions onto the Psycho-Aesthetics grid.

There are two axes. Interactivity runs from passive to immersive. Value runs from functional to self-actualization. That produces four quadrants: passive and functional, passive and high self-actualization, immersive and functional, immersive and high self-actualization.

Each concept direction is placed on the grid rather than listed, because the comparison is the point. Directions clustered in one quadrant tell you something different from directions spread across all four. The canvas also carries a method and evidence note explaining how the placements were derived.

Together, the two canvases cover both the human and the business side of the opportunity. For which package includes each, see "What report types does Eydora offer?"
