Why is a report locked?

A report is locked either because it isn't in your package or because the modules haven't finished yet. Here's how to tell which.

Each report needs two things before you can open it. The two locked states look alike but mean different things, so it's worth knowing which one you're looking at.

Gate 1: your package

The report has to be included in the package you bought. If it isn't, the report shows as not in your package and offers an upgrade. Buying a bigger package is the only way to open it. See "How do I upgrade my package?"

Gate 2: module progress

Enough modules have to have finished. If your package includes the report but the modules haven't reached it yet, it reads run the modules first. Buying more won't help here; finishing the run will.

Example: on a Strategic Intelligence project that has only reached Module 3, Slides shows run the modules first, not an upgrade offer, because Slides needs 5 modules.

What each report needs

  • Insight Report: 3 modules. Executive Insight and up.

  • Psycho-Aesthetics® Canvas: 3 modules. Executive Insight and up.

  • Slides: 5 modules. Strategic Intelligence and up.

  • Full-Text Report: 5 modules. Strategic Intelligence and up.

  • Business Canvas: 5 modules. Strategic Intelligence and up.

  • Pitch Deck: 7 modules. Capital Readiness.

  • Team Briefs: 7 modules. Capital Readiness.

Before you buy

On the free trial, only a sample of the Insight Report is available. Everything else unlocks when you pick a package and the full run finishes.

A report failed instead?

If a report shows Hit a problem, nothing was lost, that isn't a lock. Click Retry on it. The other reports aren't affected.
