Troubleshooting common issues

Failed modules and reports, locked reports, re-run limits, stuck runs, uploads, and the student project limit.

The situations people run into most, and what each one means.

A module failed

The module card shows a failed state and the run stops there. The project card reads Run failed at Module [N] · resume to continue. Open the project and resume from the Modules tab. Modules that already finished aren't repeated.

A report failed to generate

Reports generate one at a time. A failed report shows Hit a problem, nothing was lost and a Retry button. The other reports in the run aren't affected.

A report is locked

Check which reason it gives. Not in your package means you'd need to upgrade. Run the modules first means finishing the run will open it; buying more won't help. See "Why is a report locked?"

I've used all my re-runs

Each project allows 3 re-runs. Start a new project for a fresh set.

My run seems stuck

Modules run one after another, and a full run takes a couple of hours. Check the Modules tab for the module that's running and its progress. You can close the tab; progress is kept on the project. If nothing has moved for a long time, contact us.

I paid but nothing is running

After payment you're taken back to Project Setup to confirm your brief. The full run starts only when you click Run the full analysis on the Clarify step. The project card shows Package bought · ready to run until you do.

A file won't upload

Check the format. Eydora accepts .pdf, .doc, .docx, .ppt, .pptx, and .txt. Web pages (HTML) aren't supported; save them as PDF instead.

I can't start a new project (students)

Verified student accounts include one new project per quarter. The Projects page shows when your next one unlocks. Your existing projects stay open and fully usable.
